TAKE PART IN THE TRADITION
The New Paltz Pride March & Festival has deep roots in this community, growing out of the historic same-sex weddings performed here in 2004 and inspiring the first formal Pride March & Festival in 2005. Today, it continues as a joyful Hudson Valley tradition, bringing people together in celebration, visibility, and solidarity.
The New Paltz Pride Coalition is proud to help carry that legacy forward, supporting the broader organizing effort in 2023, partnering in 2024, and leading this important community event since 2025.

The New Paltz Pride Coalition is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! We are working towards our goal of establishing a physical location where we can host events, provide resources, and give our community a place to gather.
